Gas leak causes Scriven Road closure Friday

A backhoe hit a gas line while cleaning out a ditch along Scriven Road on Friday morning, July 28. The gas leak caused Scriven Road to be closed for a while between McDonald Street and Carolina Yarn Processing. The Tryon Fire Department and police department responded.
