I could not agree more with the author (of the letter published Tuesday, June 27, “The plus of a Pitbull or two”). I have two pit bull mixes from the shelter along with two other dogs and two cats. These are the sweetest, most loving dogs. I have never seen any aggression from either toward any other animal or person. Their short coats are easy to keep clean and they shed little. Plus, unlike my terrier type dogs, they don’t go after squirrels, rabbits and other small animals in the woods and they don’t seem prone to roam. I could not ask for a better dog.
