Spartanburg District 1 High School students give color run presentation

Students representing Landrum High School and Chapman High School student councils gave a presentation to Landrum City Council during the regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 14 about a color run on May 20 in Landrum starting at O.P. Earle Elementary School. The Color Us One run is open to anyone who wants to do either a 5K run or fun run at the price of a can of food. Corporate sponsorship levels are available and participants can register on the Spartanburg District 1 website. Registration will begin at the end of February and shirts can be ordered online. During the meeting, city council approved a donation of $1,000 in support of the color run.
