At Blacksburg on Tuesday, Jan. 24, the Wildcats showed why they were undefeated in region men’s basketball, when they edged Landrum, 73-68, in a battle of closely matched teams.

The Cardinals dropped a notch to 12-6 overall and 3-2 in the region, while the Wildcats are 11-5 and 5-0.

This evening, the Cardinals host Chesnee (8-10, 2-3) in another region contest. Tip-off is set for 7:30. On Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Cardinals are home again, facing St. Joseph’s Catholic, as the teams are set to rip it up at 7:30 p.m.
