Work is underway on the Columbus Fire Department to add new living space for firefighters. According to Columbus Fire Chief Tony Priester, the expansion is going to be identical to the living space on the right side of the fire station and will include two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, storage space and a kitchenette. At a cost of $260,000, the fire department plans to finish the expansion in the spring. (Photo by Michael O’Hearn)
