To the editor:

I moved to North Carolina in 1974 because of a good job in a state with forward thinking ideas, a good public education system and amazing natural resources. I swam, biked, hiked and backpacked on the coast, in the Piedmont and in the mountains. North Carolina is my home.

Andy Millard, who is running for the 10th District Congressional seat, supports goals that I hold dear. He wants to revitalize our economy and create new jobs by building and repairing roads, bridges, state parks; investing in clean energy which will require good training programs; re-investing in public education at all levels; and reforming our financial system to protect everyone.

Andy is honest, dedicated to helping all the citizens of District 10 create better lives. He’s willing to partner with others to make positive changes for all of us. I encourage you to vote for Andy Millard for Congress.
