Fiddle instructor Worth Lewallen shows young musicians a few pointers during PacJAM camp at the Tryon Fine Arts Center.

PacJAM provides instruction in traditional Appalachian music, dance, and stories. Students will spend the week learning fiddle, banjo, mandolin, or guitar and present a free concert for the public on Friday, July 22 at noon at TFAC. Saturday evening at 7 p.m. TFAC will host a benefit concert for PacJAM programs, featuring acoustic Americana artists from around the Foothills.
