A severe storm hit Autumn Park apartments Saturday afternoon, causing a fire and significant damage in one of the apartment buildings, according to Spartanburg County Master Deputy Darren Dukes. In a statement, Dukes said a Spartanburg County deputy lives in an affected apartment. Dukes reported a GoFundMe page has been set up for donations to offset the deputy’s losses. Donations can be made at http://gofundme.com/scsodeputy, and all donations would be appreciated in the effort.
