Polk County Court results for May 25

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 130 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Dakota James Childers was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Childers was fined $40 and court costs.

Gyoung Soon Choi was convicted of no rear seat belt. Choi was fined $25 and court costs.

Amanda Leigh Edwards was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Edwards was fined $40 and court costs.

Bennie Richard Green was convicted of no rear seat belt. Green was fined $50 and court costs.

Tyrone David Green was convicted of habitual larceny. Green was sentenced to two year supervised probation and court costs.

James Bennet Holleman was convicted of no rear seat belt. Holleman was fined $25 and court costs.

Rhonda A. Linder was convicted of no rear seat belt. Linder was fined $25 and court cost.

Brian Keith Smith was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance. Smith was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.

Ronald Alexander Wingo was convicted of no rear seat belt. Wingo was fined $50 and court costs.
