Published 10:00 pm Monday, January 18, 2016
The Foothills Equestrian Nature Center is excited to host their first Armchair Traveler program of the year on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 4 p.m. This month, armchair travel from the great room at FENCE to Senegal, Africa. Our host along this journey, Anna Alsobrook, will help us to visualize life in Senegal.
Anna will speak about the two years she spent in Senegal serving as a preventative health and environmental education volunteer with the Peace Corps. Be sure to stick around for refreshments after this great program. Thank you to the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation for making this event possible.
