According to Dr. Warren Carson, Roseland president, this forum is part of a long practiced commitment to voter education that Roseland has been engaged with for many years.

The candidates, all of whom have been invited, are as follows: For mayor, Jim Wright (incumbent) and Alan Peoples; for town council, Roy Miller (incumbent), George Baker (incumbent), Crys Armbrust and Doug Arborgast.

Each candidate will be allowed five minutes to state his platform, and then a question-and-answer session will follow, conducted by Dr. Joseph Fox, Roseland vice-president. At the conclusion of the Q&A session, each candidate will be given a two-minute wrap up opportunity.

According to Carson, this format has worked well in the past and it keeps the focus on voter education. All Town of Tryon voters are welcome. Roseland Community Center is located at 56 Peake St.
