Polk County District Court results for Sept. 9

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 125 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Dylan Jackson Brown was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Brown was fined $50 and court costs.
Nathan Wally Cross was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Cross’ probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Nathan Wally Cross was convicted of level two driving while impaired and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Cross was sentenced to four years supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Noah Austin Elliott was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Elliott was fined $92 and court costs.
Danielle N. Guminski was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Guminski was fined $40 fine and court costs.
Richard C. Kain was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Kain was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Richard Curtis Kain was convicted of no operator’s license. Kain was fined $50 and court costs.
Zachery Clint McPeak was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. McPeak was to pay court costs.
Walden Gene Pace was convicted of communicating threats. Pace was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
William Cameron Pruette was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Pruette was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Danthony Martin Rivas was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Rivas was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Marshal Brandon Roper was convicted of cancelled/revoked/suspended certification/tag. Roger was fined $75 and court costs.
Amy Boyden Rothauff was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Rothrauff was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Tyrone Twitty was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Twitty was to pay court costs.
Christopher A. Walker was convicted of communicating threats. Walker was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs.
Andrew Neil Whelchel was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Whelchel was fined $100 and court costs.
