Landrum defeats Walhalla, 33-24

Quarterback Peyton Kemmerlin threw three touchdown passes, two of which were caught by Anthony Anderson, as Landrum defeated Walhalla, 33-24, at Landrum last Friday.
The Cardinals, which host long-time rival Polk County this Friday Sept. 11, are now 1-1.
Following the game, Cardinals’ head coach Jason Farmer, said he felt “a lot better than this time last week.”
Noting his team’s ability to hold off Walhalla, Farmer observed, “We did pretty well on defense.”
The Cardinals turned their offense loose, with Kemmerlin completing 19 of 30 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns. Anderson, who caught two passes for TDs, ran for another. He finished the night with four catches for 149 yards, while running for 77 yards on six carries.
Landrum’s Kericho Mcauley caught a TD pass, while Kemmerlin ran for another score.
