The Lake Lure Classical Academy (LLCA) wrapped up another stellar year with two graduations with 24 kindergarteners and 31 eighth graders donning royal blue caps and gowns. Prior to graduation ceremonies, the LLCA Raptors enjoyed many fun-filled events including a “Mid-Summer Night’s Dream” inspired Spring Dance; PTO’s Annual Spring Fling Festival; the Raptors Toga 5K, and field trips to Washington, D.C. and Discovery Place in Charlotte, N.C.
LLCA is currently enrolling grades K-11 for the 2014-2015 school year. The school is set to break ground on its new campus later this summer with plans to move in the new building the following school year. LLCA is currently located at 2520 Memorial Highway in Lake Lure, N.C.
Lake Lure Classical Academy, a Challenge Foundation Academy, serves grades K-11 (2014-2015 school year) with a mission to provide a first-class education to every child, thereby developing thoughtful, articulate young adults.
