On October 29, the Tryon Women’s Golf Association at the Tryon Country Club ended the season with a delicious luncheon catered by Suzanne Sitton in the beautifully decorated for fall, Donald Ross room.

Christine Mariotti chaired the luncheon committee with the assistance of Bonnie Sakos, Peggy Bolen and Caroline Brown.

The winning team for the Captain’s Choice event held before the luncheon included Becky Walker, Patsy Hanskat and Frances McCain with a score of 36.

The newly elected officers for 2014 are Lynn Chalmers, president; Judy Muncy, vice president; Becky Kennedy, secretary and Georgeanne Murphy, treasurer.

Although the season has officially ended, winter play starts on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and will continue each Tuesday throughout the fall and winter. Call the Pro Shop for tee times and further information.
