Congressman Patrick McHenry tours FENCE

FENCE president of the board, John Boyle, explained the situation, “We are actively fundraising to cover the cost of these extensive repairs. We have several bids in hand and hope to hire a company in the next week or so.”

McHenry asked about federal funds that might be available and offered to look into ways he might help out.

Congressman McHenry has represented North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District since 2004. This district includes Polk, Rutherford, Cleveland and Gaston Counties.

McHenry currently serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the House Financial Services Committee, where he is the chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Congressman McHenry also serves as a deputy whip for House Republicans Conference. Congressman McHenry resides with his wife, Giulia, in Denver, N.C.
