The Polk County Sheriff’s Office will host an open house on Monday, Dec. 19 from 5 – 7 p.m. The public is invited to drop by and visit with PCSO officers and staff. Hot chocolate, apple cider and light snacks will be on hand. Marshmallows will be roasting outside, and Santa Claus is set to make a special appearance.
“We really enjoy this time of year and wanted to take the opportunity to have our citizens stop by and visit,” said Sheriff Donald Hill. “Our citizens are always there to help us – from the Sheriff’s Fund for the Needy to the Toy Run to various other things, so this is a small way of saying thanks. I really hope a lot of people are able to come and see us.”
