Polk County Finance Director Sandra Hughes was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting during the Polk County Board of Commissioners meeting held Tuesday, Sept. 6. Polk County Commissioner Chair Ray Gasperson (left) presented the award to Hughes. The certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of government accounting and financial reporting.
