Preschoolers and caregivers participate in an earlier story time. Preschool story times will begin again at both the Polk County Library in Columbus and the Saluda Community Library, beginning Aug. 30. Story time will be held each Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. in Columbus and each Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. in Saluda. This week’s theme will be “Let’s Visit the Library!” Preschool story time encourages early childhood literacy and library use with a combination of books, music, finger play, flannel board stories and simple crafts.
