In late February, Hospice of the Carolina Foothills conducted a five-day training for the medical science class at Polk County High School. Some of these students are now receiving experience at the Hospice House during a clinical rotation and through job shadowing with the homecare staff to learn more about Hospice care for patients and their families. PCHS staff and students said they are grateful for the opportunity to gain experience in the field as they anticipate future careers in healthcare.
