After hundreds of sell-out performances nationwide, one of the hottest stage shows in the country rolls into Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) on Tuesday, April 5, with America’s favorite Patsy Cline tribute show, “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline,” starring Katie Deal.
Presented by the Community Enrichment Department at Blue Ridge Community College, the show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas Auditorium on the Henderson County Campus. Tickets will be available at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
“A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline” traces the singer’s rise to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s and seeks to demonstrate her appeal to a broad variety of music fans. The musical features 21 of Cline’s greatest hits, including “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Seven Lonely Days” and “Crazy.”
“A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline” is produced on tour by the Springer Theatre of Columbus, Ga., the official state theater of Georgia. For additional information, contact Martha Howell at 828-694-1743.
