Overholt named Polk’s 2010 most valuable player

Polk County High School held its annual football awards banquet Monday, Dec. 20.
Andre Overholt was named most valuable player for 2010. Other players honored included:
Most improved player: Gabriel Mingorance
Most valuable linebacker: JJ Maxwell
Most valuable offensive back: Cary Littlejohn
Most valuable receiver: Ryan Thomas
Most valuable defensive back: Alec Philpott
Most valuable offensive lineman: Tyler Philpott
Mr. Wolverine: Trey Couch and Juan Hicks
Captains awards: JJ Maxwell, Tyler Philpott and Andre Overholt
