Forest City Owls head coach Matt Hayes will serve as head coach in the Coastal Plain League All-Star game for a second straight year.

Hayes has guided the Owls to a 19-9 record and into first place in the West Division at the halfway point of the season. Last year, Hayes coached the American team, but this year he will coach the National squad. This years American team will be coached by Florences Russell Carter.

The 2010 CPL All Star festivities, which are set for Forest Citys McNair Field, will feature Fan Fest beginning at 5 p.m. and a Home Run Derby at 8 p.m. on July 19.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. July 20. A fireworks display is scheduled for after the game.
