One of the gardening corners of Tryon is found at the intersection of Doubleday and Melrose Avenue Ext. James Bodie is tilling the soil for his summer crops (his daffodils arent bad either!) and Warren Board has painted his and Jeris bank with colorful ground covers that look like an artists pallet.

A long time dream of Gillette Woods residents has been to clear and establish a trail system throughout the neighborhood. This will be a tremendous undertaking and will require quite a volunteer effort. Hopefully, the trail system will begin to be more than a dream soon.
