The case of former Polk County Sheriff Chris Abril for driving while impaired charges was continued during Polk County District Court held yesterday. Abrils case was continued until Feb. 3. Abril was arrested and charged with DWI, open container and driving left of center and later with larceny for allegedly stealing a drink at Elmos in Tryon in October.
