The annual Tryon Christmas Stroll, sponsored by the Tryon Downtown Development Association, is scheduled for Friday, December 4 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Downtown Tryon businesses will be dazzling in their Christmas finery. Merchants will have an assortment of holiday treats and refreshments and their new Christmas wares will be on display.

This year, music will be the theme, with large and small choral groups, sing-a-longs, instrumental ensembles and carolers throughout the downtown.

An official lighting of the Tryon Christmas tree will be accompanied by Community Chorus caroling.

Santa and his elves will be on hand with hot chocolate, candy canes and photo-ops.
