The Ministry&39;s five family singing teams recently returned from a 15-city Easter tour that meandered its way through six different states and portions of Canada. The event will culminate right here in their home area of Tryon. Each family group typically shares a song or two, however all the voices will also blend together in harmonic praise and celebration with a choral type presentation. Gospel Express is a faith based non-profit evangelistic ministry and their ministry teams frequently travel throughout the country. They share many services and crusades in various prisons, as well as churches and special events. Some personnel are also involved in International ministry in the African countries of Kenya, Ghana, and Uganda. One of the annual highlights is for all the teams to be able to unite together for an event of this nature. There will be a short video presentation during the concert, outlining the various ministry activities. The ministry just released a new CD entitled &uot;Easter Celebration Volume 1.&uot; Many of these songs will be presented during the concert, including We Shall See Jesus, Arise My Love, I Pledge Allegiance, I&39;ll Have a New Life, and many more. Gospel Express has over 40 different recordings in its repertoire dating back to 1984 when Nelson and Sarah Coblentz from Tryon founded the ministry. The original location was Lancaster, Pennsylvania; however the organization was relocated to the beautiful Foothills of Polk County in 2000. There is no admission charge for this event. Seating is general admission. A free-will love offering will be received to bless the ministry in its continued call to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to its neighbors, locally, across the United States, and abroad.
