Riders, horses and ponies needed

Tryon Riding and Hunt Club is looking for horses, ponies and riders to compete in the Amateur Flat Race at the 70th running of the Block House Steeplechase races on Saturday, May 7 at FENCE in Tryon.

 

The amateur race is for riders who have never ridden in a sanctioned race and who are at least 18 and not over 59 years old, and horses and ponies four years old and up that have not competed in a sanctioned race since Jan. 1 of the previous year. It’s limited to eight. If there are more than eight entries, they will be split. Be part of the tradition!
