Saluda Police Department February report

During the month of February 2016, the Saluda Police Department answered 76 calls for service and patrolled 3,266 miles.

There were 12 state citations issued, six city citations issued, 21 warnings issued, three accidents, one larceny, 12 welfare checks, five alarms and three open doors. Officers completed 1,892 business checks, 112 church checks and 59 house checks.

The Saluda Police Department is also taking part in license checks in the county and Saluda over the next few months as part of the N.C. Governor’s Highway Safety Program.
