Polk County District Court results for Jan. 13

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 76 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Robert Nathaniel Ayscue was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Ayscue was to pay court costs.

Scott Everett Bodwell was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Bodwell was fined $50 and court costs.

Michael Edward Brunson was convicted of operating a motor vehicle with improper equipment. Brunson was fined $40 and court costs.

Sarah Beth Callis was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Callis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Douglas Bruce Frady was convicted of breaking and or entering and larceny after break/enter. Frady was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.

Jerry Lynn Hipp was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Hipp’s probation was revoked.
