Retired Master Sergeant Bevin Corbin presents a check to Jean Eckert, CEO of Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Polk County Memorial American Legion Post 250 of Tryon recently presented Hospice of the Carolina Foothills (HoCF) with a donation. The funds were raised through the Legion’s weekly Bingo nights, held each Friday in Tryon, at the Polk County Memorial Post 250. HoCF was selected as a recipient of the Legion’s support because of their dedication to honoring the unique needs of the veterans they serve. HoCF partners with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organizations, “We Honor Veterans” program, and strives to make an impact on the lives of those who have served our country. Legion Post 250 supports several non-profit organizations in the community whose missions help local veterans.
