Upcoming chamber Business Expo and why you should go

The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce is hosting its third Business & Community Expo on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at Landrum Middle School Gymnasium, from 12 to 5 p.m.

Why should everyone go?

First of all, because you will get to see over 50 local business vendors displaying what they can do for you! Secondly, you will get to meet the owners face to face, ask questions, pick up lots of free gifts, maybe win one of the more than 50 door prizes to be given away, it’s all indoors, you can bring the whole family, and its free to the public.

The first and second expos were a huge success! This event supports the chamber’s “Save Local, Buy Local, Hire Local,” initiative, which promotes keeping our dollars circulating in our local economy. The success of this event shows that our local businesses want you to know who they are, and you can meet them all in one great location at the expo.

Vendors represent a wide range of businesses from financial and banking, home improvement, landscaping, foods and farming, antiques, merchandise and retail, equestrian, arts and crafts, accommodations, health care, tourism and real estate.

All participating vendors will donate a door prize valued at $20 or more that will be given away every 15 minutes from the Chamber of Commerce booth, so be sure to go there first and fill out a ticket.

There will be a grand prize of a FIRE HD8 32G tablet, with a shockproof Incipio Clarion folio.  Each family will receive gifts from the chamber at the front information desk including a free crosstown tote bag, stylus pen, cell phone card holder, picture-frame magnet, and more, plus an expo program featuring information on all of the vendors. Each vendor will have free giveaways. There will be food and beverages for sale in the lobby.

Our sponsors so far this year are: Polk County Tourism-Agriculture-Economic Development, First Citizens Bank, Walker-Wallace & Emerson, Rutherford Regional Health System, and Blue Water Pools and Spas. Vendors to date include all sponsors, plus Acts Home Health, Carolina Chiropractic Plus, GEIGER, Landrum News Leader,  Mountain View Screens and Sunrooms, PANGAEA Internet, SCORE, ServiceMaster of Spartanburg/Polk, ServPro, Tam’s Tack and Merchandise, TD Bank, Tiffany Freel State Farm Insurance and the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce.
