Try “A Taste of Tryon” with an old favorite
Tryon Downtown Development Association is reprinting the classic cookbook “A Taste of Tryon.”
This very popular cook was a collection of quality recipes from local residents. It also featured Favorite Recipes from the chefs at local inns. The cookbook has been out of print and unavailable since its initial publication in 2001.
TDDA is reprinting the book as a fundraiser for continuing the work to improve downtown as a North Carolina Main Street Program. Books will be available at downtown retailers, including the Book Shelf, Vines & Stuff and more to be announced, as well as online at www.downtowntryon.org/cookbook. These books make wonderful gifts for family, friends and houseguests.
TDDA works to revitalize and preserve downtown Tryon through economic development, quality design and preserving the historic nature of downtown, and promotion of downtown. We do this through partnerships with businesses, local government and governing boards, and more.
