Isha Jackson, a 2007 graduate of Polk County High School, received a bachelor of arts in mass communication from North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C., on Dec. 11, 2010 during the fall commencement graduation exercises.

Jackson is the daughter of Wanda and Thurston Jackson of Columbus. She is the grandaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Jackson of Columbus and Mrs. France Lee of Shelby, N.C.
