White Oak development was granted a 30-day extension recently in Polk County Civil Superior Court to respond to a lawsuit filed this summer by the Polk County Board of Commissioners. Polk County is suing White Oak for its failure to pay for a water line the county ran last year to the development. The county was still owed over $135,000 when it filed the suit in June. White Oak has until Sept. 8 to respond to the lawsuit.
