The Cardinals took over after a Chesnee punt on their own 35-yard-line. Brandon Cannon shepherded the offense downfield in 13 plays and with 4.5 seconds left on the clock, the Cardinals had the ball on the Chesnee 4-yard-line.

Landrum appeared to be ready to go for a field goal when Chesnee called a time out. As Landrum walked back onto the field it was apparent that the game was going to be in Cannon and the offense’s hands.

Cannon took the snap, faked a cut to the middle and the darted towards the left pylon. The senior quarterback walked in untouched and his team rushed him on the sidelines with the scoreboard showing 0.0 time left.

The Cardinals move to 2-0 with the dramatic 19-14 victory.
