Polk superior court results

In Polk County Superior Court held the week beginning April 26 with Judge Dennis J. Winner presiding, 82 cases were heard.
Some cases were continued or dismissed. The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Ben D. S. Gambill, Jr. was convicted of unsafe movement. Gambill was to pay court costs.
Maurice Eugene Allen was convicted of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, assault by pointing a gun and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Allen was sentenced to eight to 10 months at the N.C. Department of Corrections and $600 in restitution for possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and assault by pointing a gun and 30 months supervised probation for possession of a firearm by a felon.
Jason Bo Dwy was convicted of felony possession of schedule I controlled substance. Dwy was sentenced to 30 months supervised probation, $600 in restitution, 72 hours of community service and court costs.
Joshua Charles Glynn was convicted of conspire to deliver schedule VI controlled substance and aid and abet felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Glynn was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service and court costs.
Clarence Michael Kennedy was convicted of attempted trafficking in amphetamine/meth. Kennedy was sentenced to 30 months supervised probation, $600 in restitution, 72 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs.
Joshua William Lindsay was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Lindsays probation was revoked.
Billy Shane Miller was convicted of speeding, failure to stop-steady red light and unsafe passing yellow line. Miller was sentenced to 30 months unsupervised probation, 11 days in jail and court costs.
Billy Shane Miller was conviced of felony flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle. Miller was sentenced to 30 months supervised probation, two and months in jail and court costs.
Anthony Eugene Moss was convicted of driving while impaired. Moss was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Stacy Blaine Osteen was convicted of take antlerless deer during closed season, hunt from state road and trespass on posted property. Osteen was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 90 days electronic house arrest and court costs.
Robert William Stewart, IV was convicted of driving while impaired and felony possession of cocaine. Stewart was sentenced to one year supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs for driving while impaired and 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, $600 in restitution, a $100 fine and court costs for possession of cocaine.
Tiffany Jean Yoak was convicted of felony probation violation. Yoaks probation was terminated.
