Julia Pearson Daunt, daughter of the late Giles W. and Aletha Morgan Pearson, died Tuesday, April 13 in Sarasota, Fla., after a long illness.

Survivors are her husband, John Daunt Jr., and son, John Daunt III of Sarasota, Fla. Three sisters, Doreen Janicki, Mildred Pearson and Odessa Galda of Saluda and Tryon.

No local services will be held.
