The History of Tryon Riding and Hunt Club is the topic of the Polk County Historical Association meeting on Tuesday, April 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Museum on Walker Street in Columbus.
Colonel Charles C. Ross, US Army (Retd.), is known to many in our community as Chuck Ross.&bsp; The hat he will wear at the Polk County Historical Association meeting will be that of a past president of Tryon Riding and Hunt Club and well as a supporter and volunteer for their many events.
Ross is a historian and will bring this background to his subject of the history and impact of the horse on our community over the years. Everyone is welcome.
