National Career Development Month Poetry and Poster Contest winners

O.P. Earle 5th grader, Megan Robinson, and 3rd grader, Rachel Smith, recently entered the National Career Development Month Poetry and Poster Contest.&bsp; The theme of the contest was Bridges to a Brighter Future Inspire Your Career: Empower Your Life.
Robinsons poem, entitled Bridges to a Brighter Future, and Smiths poster were both winners at the school, district and county level.
At the state level Robinson took 1st place in the National Career Development Month Poetry Intermediate Division 3rd-5th grade and Rachel Smith took 2nd place in the National Career Development Month Poster Contest Intermediate Division 3rd-5th grade.
Both girls received certificates and gift cards to spend at Wal-Mart. O.P. Earle administrators and faculty say they are very proud of both of them and continue to promote Student Centered Education.
