Polk County Middle School will present Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet or The Old You-Know-I-Really-Love-You-But-My-Father-Really-Hates-You Blues for students January 27 and 28 and for family and community members on Thursday, January 28, starting at 7 p.m. in the schools auditorium.

The play is funded in part by a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation. The school will hold a 50-50 raffle (winner takes home half the pot of funds collected during raffle sale) and a bake sale as fundraisers for next years play.

The play is based on the original by William Shakespeare, and was adapted by Nancy Linehan Charles. Marianne Carruth is the director.
