Brookshire performs at Carnegie Hall

Rose Aubrey Brookshire, 8 years old of New York City, played violin at Carnegie Hall on May 27, 2025. Rose auditioned and was selected as a representative of Convent of the Sacred Heart at their music festival. She performed a solo and  played with 2 ensembles.

Rose, who will be in the 3rd grade at Sacred Heart NYC is the great niece of Julie Brock of Landrum, granddaughter of Ann (Brock) and Richard Brookshire of CT and great granddaughter of the late Mary and J.E. (“Babe”) Brock. She lives in NYC with her 12 year old sister, Riley, and her parents Rachelle and Richard Brookshire.
