TRYON—The Tryon Country Club Men’s Golf Association played a 2 Best Balls Of 4 format on Monday, June 9, along with closest-to-the-pin contests on the par threes. Eight foursomes were competing for the title on a beautiful day.

The winners were as follows:

1st place – Brad Rakow, Roger Dehnel, Dennis Sakos, Ken Shull – 62

2nd place – Charles Enicks, John Schickling, Ed Weatherby, Chuck Reeves – 64

3rd place – Vic Ketchman, Tom Murdoch, Tom Bolling, Richard Barraud – 65
