Baldwin presented a balanced budget of $3,282,946, including a 15.2 mill increase, or a .0848 mill levy. With the increase, owners of property valued at $150,000 would pay $91.20 more per year in taxes.

Approximately 1.2 million in additional revenue is anticipated in 2026, which would be used at SCDOT’s discretion for road improvements across the city’s 12.2 miles of road.
