Polk County’s varsity golf team continued its solid spring season Thursday, posting a 174-190 victory over Landrum in non-conference action at Links O’Tryon.

The Wolverines were led by Myles Menetre, who earned medalist honors with a round of 40 on the par-36 layout. The performance marked Menetre’s third medalist finish of the season as he maintained his position as the team’s most consistent scorer.

Polk County received balanced support from its roster, with Brody Wilkins and Piercen Edwards each carding rounds of 44 to tie for second place among the Wolverines. Tourin Jackson completed the team scoring with a 46.

Gage Harden added a 49 for Polk County, who will return to action Wednesday in a match at Bright’s Creek.
