Event to kick off Campobello’s Family Fun Day

CAMPOBELLO—Lions Sports is partnering with the Town of Campobello to host the Lions Family Fun Run/Walk on Friday, May 2. The event will kick off Campobello’s Family Fun Day, which will be held on Saturday, May 3, at Gib Gosnell Park.

The 5K run/walk will take place at 6:30 p.m., organizers say. The proceeds will support Lions Sports’ missions, including an upcoming mission trip to Puerto Rico. Lions Sports is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of youth through baseball, softball, and scripture.

Registration for the event is $45 but will cost $35 for participants who register before February 1. The entry fee will include a T-shirt and a race bib.
