Four Polk County wrestlers earned individual titles Saturday to lead the Wolverines to a second-place finish in the War Eagle Invitational at East Henderson.
The Wolverines trailed only Palmetto (S.C.) in the 22-team field. East Henderson placed third, with Madison and Tuscola rounding out the top five.
Efrain Rivera, Brody Wolfe, Styler Blackwell and Zalen McCraw each won their weight classes, with Wolfe defeating teammate Amon Villarreal in the 126-pound final. Cole Huntley at 106 also notched a second-place finish.
Polk County is slated to be back in action Tuesday, traveling to Landrum for a 5 p.m. non-conference match.
