SOCCER: Polk places four on All-MF7 boys soccer squad

A quartet of Polk County players have been named to the Mountain Foothills 7 All-Conference boys soccer squad.

Seniors Riley Ballentine, Nate Martinez and James Purtill and junior Cooper Meyer were selected for the squad after helping lead the Wolverines to the third round of the state 1A playoffs.

Brevard’s Rion Coadwell was named the Offensive Player of the Year, with Patton’s Isai Jimenez named the Defensive Player of the Year. Brevard’s Randy Baron was named Coach of the Year.

Brevard: David Bohn, Steven Bohn, Rion Coadwell, Silvan Guidry, Wyatt Stoner, Bradyn Toms

Chase: Yates Bradley

East Rutherford: Derek Gonzalez-Hernandez. Cole Hooper
