COLUMBUS—On Thursday afternoon, the Foothills Chamber of Commerce gathered to celebrate Radix Family Chiropractic’s grand opening. The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting event, marking the start of the new chiropractic practice dedicated to promoting holistic health and wellness.

Dr. Hunter Bigley is at the helm of Radix Family Chiropractic. A Sherman College of Chiropractic graduate, Dr. Bigley was born and raised in the Carolinas and looks forward to serving the Columbus area. He combines his expertise in chiropractic care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach, focusing on core issues. 

“We chose the name Radix because it means root in Latin,” said Bigley. “We are about nurturing patients from their roots.”

The approach compares the growth of a tree—dependent on deep, healthy roots—to the fundamental connection between the health of the nervous system. 

“We also offer Insight Scans,” adds Bigley. “This is something that sets us apart. It is a way to assess nervous system functions and gives you a comprehensive picture of a patient’s neurological status, heart rate variability, and electromyography.”

Bigley, a devoted family man, cherishes time spent with his wife, Savannah, and their two-year-old twin daughters, Remi and Ivy. His hobbies include fly fishing, sports, and exploring the mountains.
