Dear Aunty Pam,
Recently, I upset my new boyfriend with something I said about his car. ‘Dave’ is really into American muscle cars and already has a 1978 black Trans Am, like in the Smokey and the Bandit movie, and a GTO. I like Dave a lot, but these cars just scream ‘redneck’ to me, and I don’t like going anywhere in them when he wants to take me out somewhere. Plus, I don’t know what he did to the exhausts, but they are super loud and embarrassing.
Dave kept asking why I didn’t like them, and I finally told him they were loud. Then I made the big mistake of pointing out that many people say that only men who aren’t ‘well endowed’ drive them to feel better about themselves.
He got really angry.
Then we got into an argument about women having to be always right about everything, and I said that’s not true. Still, we are right about most things, especially cars, because you don’t see women with a small bust driving some kind of car to make themselves feel better about their bodies. We just deal with it.
Am I right, Aunty Pam?
Linda, SC
Dear Linda,
No.
The only reason small-busted women aren’t driving cars to make up for their deficit is that most women can’t drive a double-decker bus. And what do you mean small-busted women ‘just deal with it?’ Have you SEEN the amount of breast augmentations out there? Just look at social media and the celebrities and your neighbors who have had them— it’s so common that these surgical practices sprung up everywhere like ‘Jiffy Boobs’— in and out in 30 minutes.
You clean up your own mess with Dave. Don’t be dragging the rest of us chicas into it!
Cheers, dears!!
Aunty Pam
